There is no denying the fact that sportsplay a very important role in the all-round growth and development of the Childern.Being fully aware of this ,Quaid-e-Azam Public School & College Gujranwala has always been arranging sports events. This year too saw a mega event named “Annual Sports & Prize Distributin Day”held on the vast lush green oval ground of the College.Worthy chairman BOG/BOT Mr.Shamial Ahmed Khawaja, Commissioner Gujranwalawas the chief Guest.
It was a marvelous event with glorious memories.At the start of the function The Principal Mr.Najamuzaman along with the Heads received the Chief Guest.
After the introductory walk by all the sections, The Program formerly began with the recitatioc of Holy Quran and Naat.
A Milli Song by the Girls College won the appreciation of everyone present. It aroused feelings of patriotism and National Pride. After that Oath was taken by the participants and then Worthy Chief Guest declared the festival open.
The Karate and Gymnastic Show was presented.It was undoubtedly marvelous in that.It exhibited the skill, techniques and fitness of the students from Boys School.
The whole function captured the audience with different activities like Colorful Luddi Show,Pt Show,Rabit Race,Frog Race and Clown Race presented by Junior School.
Some other activities like Weight Lifting, Obstacle Race, 400 Meter Race and 400 Relay Race were presented by Boys College and appreciated by all the spectators.
Gilrs College showed their good Stamina and strength in this Mega Event by participating in races like 200 Meter Race, 100 Meter Race and 400 Meter Relay Race.
The participation of Female teachers in Musical Chair and Male teachers in Tug of War which made the arena echo and resound with laughter.
At the end The Chief Guest addressing the audience, appreciated the whole event and encourage the students and the teachers to hold such events quite often as they bring forth the talent and potential of the youth.
The Chief Guest Finally gave away the prizes to the students who had achieved high level of excellence in curricular Extra-Curricular activities.
The event was concluded with the singing of National Anthem. It was really a memorable event.
