INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF THE QDPS PARKING AND GREEN BELT
Inauguration ceremony of the QDPS green belt was held on Friday, 11 Dec. 2015. Mr Shamail Ahmed Khawaja Commissioner Gujranwala Division inaugurated the occasion. The project will include Greenbelt, drinking water points, Shades and Parking. At this time Worthy Commissioner delivered a speech and gave an outline to all progressive efforts, these are as following.
The whole project is supervised and financed by District and City Government will cover the boundary wall of QDPS and it will cost Rs.87 lakh
The chairman appreciated the efforts of the DCO Gujranwala, the AC City Gujranwala and the Principal QDPS in this respect. Initiated upon the suggestions of the parents the project will be completed within three weeks.
CCTV cameras will also be installed by QDPS for security purposes. About three thousand parents in addition to general public will benefit from the project; moreover, Degree College in QDPS will also be inaugurated very soon. A basketball court at Girls College will be built in the near future. With courtesy of DCO Gujranwala the leftover work of the Sports Complex will be started in Dec. 2015 and completed by Provincial Building Department.
