Summer Vacation Homework

 Class I

Dear Parents,

Summer break is a great time to refresh and enjoy quality time with parents. At the same time we want our students not to lose track of their studies so we have designed comprehensive summer break homework for them. You are advised to note the following:

• The summer work will be graded.
•  The students are advised to do their work tidily.
•  Untidy, incomplete and homework done by an elder will not be accepted.
• The last date for the submission of Summer Break Homework is 5^th August, 2019. Late submissions will not be accepted and graded.
• The students are advised to have fun in their summer break while also set aside specific study hours daily.

ENGLISH:

Learn all the work done on book and notebook.

Activities:

1. Draw a tree having 10 describing words. (adjectives)

Example:

Make a chart having nouns. (10 for each)

​SOCIAL STUDIES:

Learn all the work done on notebook and book.

Activities:

Family Tree

Make a family tree starting from oldest family member (paste pictures of family members if possible)

Write your relation with your family member with reference to your father like my father’s brother is my uncle, my father’s father is my grandfather etc.

Model of a House

Make a model of a house with the help of any of the following materials

1. mud
2. bricks and cement
3. wood and straw

Clean and Healthy Habit Chart

Write at least five ways of keeping clean on colour paper with 7 columns for days of a week. Make a tick in front of each way that you follow on that day.

SCIENCE:

Learn all the work done on notebook and book.

Activity:

Photo Chart

Glue three photos of yourself as you look now; when you were a baby; when you were a toddler on a chart under the headings of I am a girl/ boy; I was a baby girl/boy, I was a toddler.

Write at least three differences that you notice among the three pictures.

Seed Plantation

Plant a seed and give it air, water and sunlight. Take good care of your plant and watch it growing. This activity will not only help you to know how plants grow but you will also know about its importance for us and our earth.

Healthy Habits

Make a list of at least three healthy habits that you adopted during summer vacation to make your body healthy and strong like eating healthy food, exercise, going to bed early etc.

MATHEMATICS:

1. Write counting in words 51 to 100.
2. Write counting in numbers 1 to 100.
3. Write tables of 0, 1, and 2.
4. Do practice from page # 1 to 29 of the book.

• Activity:
• Make a pattern with your favourite fruits.
• Count steps of stairs at your home. Write down number.
• Write the names of any five objects of the following basic shapes:

triangle, circle, square, rectangle

• Write table of two in which numbers 2, 4, 6 are shown as coloured balls or pencils.

کتاب سے صفحہ نمبر 6 مشقی سوالات 1 تا 10 یاد کریں۔

سرگرمی:

اللہ کی بنائی ہوئی چیزوں کی چارٹ پر تصویر بنا کر اُن کے نام لکھیں۔

مسجد کا ماڈل بنا کر اُس کا نام لکھیں۔

وہ کام جو اللہ کو پسند  اور جو کام اللہ کو نا پسندہیں ان میں سے تین تین کا م لکھیں اور ساتھ تصویریں بھی لگائیں۔

 نوٹ:کاپی اور کتاب  پر کروایا گیا تمام کام یاد کریں۔

اُردو:    

 سبق نمبر 1 تا 6 پڑھائی کریں۔

مضمون : میرا گھر اور میری ذات پانچ سطروں میں لکھیں۔

سبق نمبر 1اور 2 کا کام کاپی کر خوش خط لکھیں۔

سرگرمی:

ہارڈ چارٹ لے کر ٹوکری بنائیں جس میں پھول بنائیں اور ان پھولوں میں سبق نمبر 3 کے املاء کے کم از کم  7 الفاظ لکھیں۔

چارٹ پر کم از کم 5 جسم کے حصوں کے نام لکھیں اور ان کی تصویریں بھی لگائیں۔

اُردو کی کاپی پر 5 پھلوں کے نام لکھیں اور ان کی تصویریں بھی بنائیں۔

ماچس کی تیلیاں لے کرچارٹ پر  کر ایک گھر بنائیں۔

اُردو کی کاپی پر صفحہ نمبر 19 کے واحد جمع خوشخط لکھیں۔
